The Saga of Hotlunch

I've written about bank alts before. We all have them, and we tend to sign on, move stuff in and out of the bank, visit the auction house, then sign out.

I have never seen one that is logged on as much as Hotlunch. She's a Blood Elf in Silvermoon. I'll see her logged on for what seems like hours. She'll be sitting in the AH, or near the mailbox, and I'll go out questing. When I return, she's still there!
The only thing I can figure is whoever is behind Hotlunch has two accounts and it's no big deal to leave her logged on for so long.

In the next few days I'm on a quest to find out who Hotlunch really is.

Stay tuned :)

Midsummer Fire Festival Bonfires

I've been doing the Fire Festival quests, primarily the one where you honor the fires of your faction, and desecrate the fires of the opposite faction. This is a great way to gain XP. I've gone from just barely 38 almost to forty just doing this quest line.

I had no problem at all until Goldshire. From the Horde perspective this is probably the worst alliance town to visit. For some unknown reason (there's nothing there) alliance players tend to congregate in Goldshire.

When I arrived there were about three level 70's and a host of other allies. So I did what any smart player would. I went to the fire, sat down, and went AFK.
During this time I worked on a school project and peeked in occasionally. After an hour the same group of players were still there running around waiting for me to complete the quest.

I would wave a couple of times and then go back to my school work. They never left. Sorry to say to those folks waiting on me, but if this is your idea of fun in WoW you might want to find a new game.

I eventually completed the quest, got killed, rezzed at the spirit healer, and moved onto the next fire.

I'm sure they are still there. Tell 'em I said hi. I won't be back.

Brazier of Dancing Flames

The Midsummer Fire Festival is in full swing and one of the items you can acquire is the Brazier of Dancing Flames.

If you /dance while you have the Brazier targeted, your toon becomes a flaming dancer also!

Here Kirsa turns into a fire dancer.

Epic Dolls Running of the Bulls

The Epic Dolls had a Level 1 Noob run to Orgrimmar last night. I'm really surprised I didn't die, though we did lose a few cows on the trip. I added a short (two minute) video of the event so you can get the idea of what this is like if you've never done one. The music is Rawhide by Riders in the Sky. Velanna suggested Chariots of Fire, but somehow this song just seemed to fit the silliness of the event :)

P.S. I edited and fixed all the things that bugged me :)

Epic Dolls in Booty Bay

I couldn't resist posting this. I had just left Booty Bay to take my new (and big) kitty out for a run, when I ran into Velanna and Sweet Misery. That's one thing I really like about the Dolls. I see them everywhere!

That's me (and my big Siamese kitty) right in the middle. Yes, he glows after eating the pet biscuit.

Papa Hummel's Old Fashioned Pet Biscuit

My first WoW TCG loot Card!

I was hoping this was a trinket that was good forever, but sadly its just a stack of 50 biscuits. They work as long as your pet is with you, but you need a new one each time you have to bring out your pet.

The picture shows the change in size and it is pretty dramatic.

It's a lot of fun, I'm sorry they don't last forever.

Bank alts are Fun :)

I see I'm not the only one that dresses my bank alt in inappropriate holiday wear.

I've missed blogging (and Wow) but I've been super busy with work and school(the short summer session), but it should clear up in about three weeks. I hope!
