Honoring Ephoenix

While completing the Elders of the Horde quest I took time to get a photo in Thunderbluff with Blizzards new tribute to Ephoenix, Elder Ezra Wheathoof.

If you don't know the story of Ezra Chatterton I encourage you to read this article.

Of course as a horde player you can always do Ezra's quest: Kyle's Gone Missing.

Here's a picture of Keila at the Kyle's Gone Missing quest giver:

Lastly, here's a rare picture of Ephoenix flying in Outland.

Godspeed Ezra. I'm sorry I never met you, but your story touched me deeply.

Sometimes it's more than just a game.

She's Back! (but she wasn't really gone)

School, the holidays, and work kept me away from blogging during December and most of January, but I'm determined to get better.

As usual I have been leveling slowly. I spend too much time wandering around or helping people out to go any faster, but it's a game and that's the how I play.

Thanks to Sal and Star for putting up with a guildie that spends most of her time lost in her own world :)

Here's Keila at 76. She's 77 now but I hate the new shoulders, so I have no pics of those.

Keila the Explorer

This is a title I really wanted. It fits my "wandering aimlessly" style of gameplay just perfectly.

Yay!

Another Kimmy

Here's my Death Knight. I leveled her just to the point of completing the starter quests, then she got moved to the side. No telling when I'll get back to her.

Yes, I know she has an annoying ascii character name. No idea why I did that. Too much caffeine I think ;)

My First Eighty

I remember my first 60 (Eastern Plaguelands), but I'm a bit fuzzy on my first 70.

Here's my first solo eighty.

The Queen of Blackrock Depths

Yes, that's Keila on the throne in Blackrock depths. It was vacant :)

Onyxia!

I love dragons and I always wanted to "meet" Onyxia.

Even though you didn't need it, I did the attunement quest prior to WOTLK. After the expansion came out I went with a group and downed Onyxia.

The group asked me to heal and I have to admit it was boooooooring. Through phase 1 and most of phase 2 I did almost nothing.

Finally I gave up and starting tossing Starfire at her. That was more fun :)

After she was down I won the roll for the Onyxia bag, but it was given to someone else. Oh well, maybe next time :(
